Jockum Nordström: All I Have Learned and Forgotten Again
Jockum Nordström is inspired by music, poetry, and architecture--particularly the Stockholm suburb he grew up in. "Poor" materials like paper and cardobard are developed in a naive yet erudite manner. Dotted with objects, animals, and people, they tell us stories that are endearing and also can be disconcerting. This publication reproduces over 100 works, presenting the reader with a comprehensive panorama of his oeuvre.
This exhibition catalog was published on the occasion of the artist's 2013 show at the Lille metropole museee d'art moderne d'art contemporain et d'art brut which traveled on to Camden Arts Centre, London. With essays by John Hutchinson and Marc Donnadieu.
Hardcover, 208 pages, 103 illustrations.
