Kathan Brown filmed artist Charline von Heyl in the Crown Point studio during her 2014 print project. In this 20-minute video, you will see the artist drawing through a soft ground, painting directly onto a plate with acid (spit bite aquatint), applying a sugar lift with a unique horse-hair brush, and using drypoint and chine colle. Be a fly on the wall as von Heyl discusses each image as it goes through the stages of proofing, and see all the images near completion on the studio wall.
