General Deburring Tool
Originally found in a plumber’s toolbox and used to smooth rough edges on copper pipe, the duburring tool was given a new, yet similar purpose when it was discovered by Crown Point Press printers. The deburring tool has a long metal handle and a curved metal tip. We use it to smooth the edges of plates so that they are safe to handle, and the paper and blankets are protected from tearing under the pressure of the press. Place your index finger in the crook of the swiveling head and, starting at the top of the plate, pull the tool firmly towards you keeping it against the plate’s edge. 5" aluminum handle with swivel head; comes with two replacement blades.
